Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Experience with medical knowledge preferred, but not required - we are willing to train the right person
  • Experience with animals & animal knowledge 
  • Basic math skills 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and other employees
  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift 
  • Ability to lift 25+ pounds on a regular basis 

General Duties 

  • Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners 
  • Float around the office helping where needed to keep us on schedule
  • Assist the veterinarians and technicians with patient care, such as treatment and animal restraint
  • Take care of lab samples - either running tests in our in-house lab or preparing them for shipment to a reference lab 
  • Answer phones and fill prescriptions 
  • Help to maintain cleanliness of exam rooms and treatment areas 
  • Help to educate clients on preventative care 

Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday through Friday with rotating late night Tuesdays
