Dental Wet Lab
The Westside Family Pet team is excited to have this Dental Wet Lab right here in Norfolk! We are grateful that all of our Technicians and Veterinarians will be able to attend so that we can continue to provide up-to-date and advanced care for all of our patients!!
Featuring:Dr. Erich Rachwitz DVM, DAVDC
Dr. Rachwitz graduated from Kansas State University and was a general practitioner for 20 years. He completed his residency and received his Diplomate Certificate from the American Veterinary Dental College in 2021. He enjoys oncologic oral surgery and endodontics. He provides veterinary dentistry services for Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and local and regional law enforcement.
Technician training will include:
- Hands-on training with best practices for taking radiographs and pet positioning
- Caring for dental instruments
- Lecture topics - Feline Dentistry, Extractions, Complications in Dentistry
Veterinarian training will include:
- New info regarding dental procedures, extractions, and other dental topics
- Hands-on training focusing on extractions
- Lecture topics - Feline Dentistry, Extractions, Complications in Dentistry
Various companies will be on hand with dental equipment and instruments.
